Season runs from August through end of October.

The team typically practices 1-2x per week prior to the start of school since our season kicks off after Labor Day.

Colleen Connor is the Head Coach. This will be her 6th season coaching field hockey at St. Helena. She currently serves as the Commissioner of Region 21 as well as co-chair of the Archdiocesan Playoffs and Championship.

Field hockey at St. Helena has been a very strong program for several years. Many players have gone on to have very successful high school careers and then were recruited to play in college. Over the years, the Varsity field hockey team has won many CYO Region 21 Championships, including the last five years straight (except of course 2020 due to Covid). The team has also advanced to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia playoffs each of the last five years making it to the semi-final game but always coming up short until last season when they defeated St. Katherine of Siena (Wayne, PA) in double overtime to claim the first AoP Championship in school history.
